Terms & Conditions

Each coach working at a holiday camp holds an up-to-date enhanced DBS.

Every holiday camp will have at least one coach present who has a Paediatric Emergency First Aid at Work qualification. Their certificates can be viewed upon request.

By signing a child up to a holiday camp, their parent/carer agrees that should there be an accident or injury, the coach/coaches will administer the first aid that they see fit based on their paediatric first aid training. If the coach believes that the child is unable to continue with the holiday camp, they will contact the emergency contact and request for the child to be picked up.

If a child feels unwell during the holiday camp, coaches will provide any treatment that they believe is necessary based on their paediatric first aid training. The child's emergency contact will then be contacted and might need to come and collect the child.

AE Sports Coaching do not tolerate any form of bullying. The coach will deal with any behaviour that they deem to be unacceptable or makes another child feel upset or uncomfortable in any way. If this behaviour persists, the coach may ring the emergency contact of the child that is causing the upset and ask that they are collected from the camp. Children should be made aware by parent/carers that they must inform the coach of any issues that they may have. If there has been an incident between children (for example name calling) which the coach has not seen/heard and neither child has informed the coach, the coach is unable to deal with the incident. AE Sports Coaching reserve the right to ban a child from attending a holiday camp if the coach deems the child's behaviour to be unacceptable regardless of if the child is booked on to any future days.

AE Sports Coaching have a 'no nut policy'. Children are not permitted to bring any form of nuts to the holiday camps.

Children are made aware that they must not share food and should also be told this by their parent/carer. Children are supervised at all times including during snack time and lunch time. Coaches will try to ensure that children do not share food, however this cannot be guaranteed when supervising large groups.

When signing up to a holiday camp, parents/carers must state if they give photo permission for the child. If they grant permission, the child may be in photos or videos that may be shared on social media or used for marketing purposes such as leaflets and posters. Photos and videos will not be used for any other purposes and are deleted off the coach's phone once they have been shared.

Children are to be collected from holiday camps by a parent/carer unless stated otherwise. AE Sports Coaching do not allow children to leave the holiday camp unless a coach has seen the person who is collecting the child. If the child has permission to walk home from a holiday camp this must be clearly stated in advance to the coach.
